Windler Cattle Co. is a sixth-generation Colorado ranching family, proudly raising high-quality Registered Black Angus cattle in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. We’re proud to offer cattle born and raised at elevations ranging from 8,000 to over 9,500 feet. Our herd thrives year-round in rugged terrain, grazing rotationally through high-mountain pastures. We don’t push our bulls—our focus is on natural development and honest performance at elevation. Every animal is PAP-tested multiple times throughout the year by Dr. Timothy Holt, ensuring accurate, seasonally relevant evaluations. Additionally, every cow in our herd undergoes full genomic testing to provide data-backed confidence in the consistency and quality of our genetics.

Bull Guarantee
​
At Windler Cattle Co., we stand behind the quality and performance of our bulls. Every bull sold is guaranteed to be fertile to the best of our knowledge and will have passed a Breeding Soundness Exam prior to sale.

We guarantee all bulls sold for $3,500 or more for the first breeding season, defined as a 90-day period from the time of initial turnout. This guarantee covers breeding soundness only and does not insure against death, injury, or loss. Should a qualifying bull fail to perform during this period, a replacement will be offered if available, or a credit will be issued toward the purchase of a Windler Cattle Co. bull in the following season.
Any potential claims must be submitted within 6 months of the purchase date and accompanied by a licensed veterinarian’s report.

Windler Cattle Co. retains a one-third (1/3) semen interest in all bulls sold. Buyers receive full possession, full salvage value, and 100% control of the bull and any resale decisions. This retained interest allows Windler Cattle Co. the opportunity to collect semen at the buyer’s convenience and our expense, should we choose to do so.
